Connie DiJohnson

Connie DiJohnson is the NFLC's Lead Director and Director for Second Language Acquisition (SLA).

As the Director for Second Language Acquisition (SLA), Ms. DiJohnson is responsible for the pedagogical integrity of the work produced by SLA team members. She works with internal and external stakeholders to create and refine language learning training, products and assessments. Before joining the Center in 2008, she designed and taught language courses for specific purposes and developed curricula for high school and community college programs. Ms. DiJohnson began her career as a middle and high school teacher and maintains her connection to public education through her volunteer work with local schools.
